These are a few pieces from Francoise's "Orange" series. I had to post this because it's shear beauty. The context can be viewed as universal and still be as relevant as the day it was created. I took from it the emotional connotations to the facial make ups of the subjects. i think the work is genius and the use of color is masterful. Definitely an adaptation of old techniques, and i have been drawn to these uses as of late.
